Thomas Dentith

I have been painting, drawing, film making and composing music for the last 17 years. My most recent work incorporates live performance with painting. I livestream my painting sessions to the internet, viewers of the stream dictate the subject of the painting by giving me suggestions in the chat. I am influenced by grafitti, british comic art, expressionism and naive art. Themes often centre around decay, chaos, mental health, mark-making, the subconcious and chance, but most of the work is created intuitively so you can probably interpret it in any way you like. more...
