Sonya Wilkins

I am a ceramicist by training but I love to paint things that I feel passionate about and one of those things is nature. My unique paintings are inspired by my time spent foraging for leaves in local Arboretum’s and the synergy of personal transformation and change. Each piece I produce mirrors a particular season in nature and how leaves transform just as we do through cycles in our lives. Each painting is an original, one off piece using a multitude of techniques and materials in 3D, producing bold sculptural canvas paintings which spark intrigue and personal interpretation. more...
