Robert Dickman

Currently a self representative Artist with BA (Hons) in Fine Art. My work resides in commercial Popart portraits, Landscape photography, Fluid painting and contemporary Abstract Landscape painting. My work to date captures colour in the natural environment through abstract landscape painting. The use of a painterly approach is used in my paintings to capture depth, transparency and texture. This methodology of colour takes the eye through a journey of saturated pigment against greyed out colours. This gives a sense of harmonious colour relationships and balance throughout the composition with the ideologies and principles of formalism and abstraction. more...
