A stylised Ammonite in pearlescent, muted colours - charcoal, taupe and silvery grey - enlivened with metallic pen and a sprinkle of little gems. An ideal gift for a fossil hunter! Untitled
This was created at a time when I found it particularly difficult to deal with unwanted thoughts, relating to my Complex PTSD. Quite often, as with this one, there is no planning or drafting and I literally started this with a circle and the rest just seemed to fall into place as I continued. This was also started prior to a second attempt at taking my own life. Throughout my social media postings I tend to be open and honest about the constant battles I face with my mental health, as a result of my physical and mental disabilities. This piece has no specific meaning in terms of artistic interpretation, but, whenever I see this piece it is a reminder of how close I came to taking my last breath. I apologise in advance if this subject matter triggers, upsets or causes anyone any distress, this was not my intention. This a limited edition of 35 prints. Note: This listing is for a giclee print.
