Moon rise over the city
Layers of images hand drawn on tracing paper are stacked on a light box, with a hand-cut paper stencil in between, then illuminated and photographed to create the beautiful, mysterious print. The process captures the sense of light and shadow, and the images has a slightly 3D quality. The moon rises over a beautiful city and, out late one night, the two creatures stand for a moment to witness its light.

The Poplars
Sombre and mysterious Poplar forest in the Pyrenees, France. It was a misty early morning when I took this image. Just before this shot a wild boar made her way through the undergrowth. This forest is due for logging to make high end wooden children’s toys, so I wanted to capture it in all of its glory before it disappears and is replanted.
