About
My art work is original, and unique and I only use materials which I have combed myself from the beaches of the North East. For me the whole process of finding the sea glass and imagining what I can do with it is part of the magic. Ive spent countless hours collecting Sea glass, and taken many trips in search of rare colours and shapes. No two art works can be the same, due to the fact that each piece of sea glass is completely unique means it makes each picture special. Sea glass is stunning to look at, shines beautifully in the sunlight! The art itself is a labour of love, I spend a lot of time and care into sorting through and finding the perfect shapes. to the fact that each piece of sea glass is completely unique means it makes each picture special. Sea glass is stunning to look at, shines beautifully in the sunlight! The art itself is a labour of love, I spend a lot of time and care into sorting through and finding the perfect shapes. Out of all the art I've undertaken over the years, this one means the most, it has combined my love of the beach with my creative side. So much of me is invested into each piece of art I create, from the beach combing right through to the making. Art is freedom, being able to bend what others will see as a straight line, Sea glass brings a wealth of creative possibilities there is nothing more magical than seeing the ocean transform something as fragile as glass into a strong beautiful and new material. Ready to be plucked from the shore line, and with a bit of imagination and love recycled into something timeless. Trash really can be treasure.
