This is a recreation of part of a 4th century Roman floor mosaic in Sepphoris, Israel. It is commonly known as the "Mona Lisa of the Galilee" Painted in acrylics on a shaped and sculptured MDF panel to give the impression of a broken fragment of ancient mosaic.
