I recently graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Creative Enterprise where I specialised in Illustration and Fine Art. It was during this course that I truly developed my passion for painting figures and faces, in particular the female form. With these pieces, I am constantly experimenting with different mediums, forms, colour and compositions and, as a result, I feel that they really express my creativity. I see my work as a celebration of the strength and allurement of womanhood, capturing the sensuality that lies between femininity and nature. I take great inspiration from the golden age of Hollywood and the actresses that reigned over it. They exuded such elegance and grace yet were very aware of their strength, sex appeal and unstoppable power that arose from the moment they were born into womanhood. My illustrative work has been featured in publications such as local magazine “NE Love” as well as being used for an article in “Cosmopolitan” magazine, which was published in a total of five different countries. more...
